Violet Naomi Wilson

Violet Naomi Leavia Wilson passed away Tuesday August 11th. She was 92 years old. Violet was born on the island of St. Vincent to the late Herbert and Phillipa Leavia. She was one of 10 children. Violet grew up in St.Vincent before moving to Trinidad at the age of 17, where she worked as a domestic and met her husband George Wilson. Years later she migrated to the United States.

She was a woman of unwavering devotion to God who inspired others to have faith and to have patience.

Violet held numerous home care positions and was well loved by those in her care. Many families continued to keep in touch after her service ended. In her leisure time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, plants & flowers.

Violet, known fondly as Moms will be missed by her two beloved sons Simon (Joseph) and Peter (Michael); daughters-in-law, Eldica & Alice; grandchildren Joel, Anita, Rod, Alex, Michael, Reynold, Kalvin; great-granddaughter Rania; as well as her brother, numerous relatives and friends.
