Vincent Paul Frezzo, a life long resident of Pelham, N.Y. passed away on April 28, 2018 - he was 94 years young. Vincent was born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. to Aniello and Josephine Frezzo. He graduated Edison High School, enlisted in the Army in 1943 and upon return he graduated from City College. He was stationed in Naples Italy, Northern France and travelled to other cities in Europe as an airplane & engine specialist with the 97th Bomb Group.
Vincent would later meet Eleanor Rosanova his wife of 61 years. The couple married at St. Catharines R.C. Church and together raised four children. Vincent worked as an Engineer for A.F. Hinrichsen Inc. in NYC. In his spare time, he was a "scratch golfer" and belonged to Bonnie Briar Country Club in Larchmont, N.Y.. Vincent also enjoyed time with his family, traveling and spending long summers on the New Jersey Shore. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather of four. Vincent will be remembered as loving, hardworking and determined.
Vincent is survived by his four children; Paula (Chris Courtien), Vincent (Brendan Skislock), Cindy (Bobby Courtien) and Lisa Frezzo. His grandchildren: Kristin, Stephanie, Dane & Rachel and his great grandchildren: Brooke, Paige, Anna & Adriana. He is survived by his brother Joseph (Patricia). He is predeceased by his wife Eleanor and his sister Ann.
A celebration of Vincent's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY, on Tuesday, May 1st from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Catherine's Church, 25 Second Avenue in Pelham, on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
