Teresa Montes

Teresa Montes left this earthly realm on May 8, 2023, after a long battle with her lungs! It would be wrong to say that Teresa lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Tere stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Teresa. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. 

Teresa will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, relative and wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed; however, her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories she leaves behind.

Teresa is survived by her husband, her 7 children, and her 12 loving grandkids. 

A celebration of Teresa’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Thursday, May 11, 2023. There will be a private family visitation between the hours of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Public visitation will be between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
