Steven Polera

Steven Polera of New Rochelle, New York, passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2024. He was 63 years old. Born in Yonkers, NY to Rocco and Mildred Polera, Steven was one of 3 children. Steven graduated from Pelham High School, and he earned a Bachelor of Marketing from the University of San Fransisco. 

 Steven was an avid sports fan, he supported the NY Yankees and enjoyed watching basketball. Steven loved to immerse himself in nature and he often enjoyed hiking. 

 Steven will be remembered for his compassionate heart and great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed; however his family finds comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind.

 Steven is survived by his children, Matthew, Monica, David, Jordan, Olivia and Julia Polera, and his two grandsons, Levi and Asher. He is also survived by his mother, Mildred Polera and his sisters, Susan (Richard) Falasca and Wendy (Robert) Stampf, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Rocco Polera.

 In Lieu of flowers, Steven’s family ask that donations be made in Steven’s memory to the Pelham Family Services.

 A private celebration of Steven’s life will take place at a later date.
