Steve Szabo

Steve Szabo of New Rochelle, NY passed away on October 8, 2014, he was 78 years old. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and came to the United States in the 1960s. He settled in New Rochelle, NY and married in 1972 to Joan Marie Nordone, who would be his wife for 42 years.

A roofer and construction worker by trade, Steve was proud of his contribution to the building of the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. He was a proud member of Local Union #8.

He will be missed by his daughter Martha, his loving stepchildren Michael Zubini and Patricia Weiss. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Kirsten, Jordan, Matthew, Spencer and Peter.

A Celebration of Steve's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY on Friday, October 10th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
