Steve Sibrizzi

Steve Sibrizzi a resident of Pelham Manor, passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side, on Sunday, May 29th 2016. He was 63 years old.

Steve was born on February 26, 1953 in the Bronx, to Jennie (Soave) and the late Angelo Sibrizzi. He graduated from Baruch College, with a Bachelor of Science degree  in Accounting and then went on to become the President of Sibrizzi Fuel Enterprises Inc. where he worked alongside his wife Lillian for 30 years.  In 2011, the company was acquired by Castle Oil, currently Sprague Energy, where Steve continued  serving others with his extensive knowledge in heating plant designs and installations.

Educating and passing on his knowledge to others was his passion, whether it be in the heating industry, music, or day-to-day life obstacles. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all of those that knew him. 

Steve was a beloved husband of 37 years to Lillian (Lombardi) Sibrizzi and a caring father to his daughters, Michelle and Jessica, and son-in-law Brian Sestak, and grandson Marco Sestak. He is also survived by his mother Jennie, his brothers Jack (Diane) Sibrizzi, Joseph (Frances) Sibrizzi, Leonard (Renee) Sibrizzi and sister Cathy (Gerald) Fiorino and many loving nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Steve's life will be honored and remembered at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY on Wednesday, June 1st from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Thursday, June 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in 559 Pelham Manor Road, Pelham Manor, NY.  Interment will follow the Mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Calvary Hospital at 1740 Eastchester Road , Bronx, NY 10461.
