Siobhan Anne Walsh

Siobhan Anne Walsh passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021. She was born in Woodlawn, NY to Christopher and Breeda (Bridget) Walsh. She is survived by her mother Breeda, brother Brian, sister Jennifer (Andrew), husband Brian Parker, nieces Sarah, Elizabeth, nephew Owen and many aunts, uncles, cousins in the US and Ireland. She is predeceased by her father Chris.

Siobhan was a bright light in this world. She spent her early years at St. Barnabas Elementary School and Cardinal Spellman High School. After graduating with a Bachelors from Columbia University and a Masters from Long Island University, Siobhan embarked on a career in education that took her from New York to Ireland and back. She was beloved by her students and colleagues.
Siobhan had a passion for history and the arts. She was an avid reader and loved poetry, theater and a lively debate. She loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. She was fiercely loyal, generous, and had a heart of gold. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Siobhan’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, New York on Friday September 17th from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Barnabas R.C Church located at 409 E 241st St, Bronx, NY, on Saturday September 18th at 10:45 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY.
