Sheldon Blitstein, 71, of Pelham passed away on Sunday July 7, 2013. He was born in the Bronx on December 19, 1941 to the late Sol & Mae Blitstein. Shelley served in army from 1963 to 1965. He graduated from NYU with masters in social work and recently retired from Family Services of Westchester.
Shelley is survived by his wife, Carol; three children, John, Edouard and Michelle; and one grandchild, Winn, the love of his life. Pre-deceased by his brother, Leo and nephew, Stephen.
Viewing services will be held on Thursday July 11th at 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY, 914- 738-1060.
