Rosalie Ann DeLillo, a resident of Pelham Manor, NY for nearly 50 years, died
on Tuesday, September 2, 2020 at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, New
Rochelle, NY. She was 80. Rosalie worked as a school teacher in the
Bronx before teaching art at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. Rosalie
later worked as a guidance counselor assistant at Archbishop Stepinac High
School, White Plains, NY until her retirement. She was President of the Rosary
Altar Society at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in the 1980's, a member of
the Church's choir, and a member of the Pelham Women's Club. Rosalie
was also a chorus member of the New Rochelle Opera Company.
Rosalie was born on January 2, 1940 in the Bronx, New York to Dr. Anthony
Procaccino and Rose Procaccino. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas
High School, Bronx, NY, in 1957. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from
the College of New Rochelle in 1961. On June 25, 1966 she married Dr.
Nicholas J. DeLillo at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx. She is
survived by her husband Nicholas, her sons Rocco, Anthony and his wife Patrizia,
Nicholas Jr. and his wife Vivian, and Lorenzo, and her eight grandchildren
Nicholas, Michela, Giovanna, Marcello, Anna, Rosa, Alexander, and Daniela.
Visiting hours at the Pelham Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 8, 4-8 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Wednesday,
September 9, at 10 am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial
donations may be sent in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Research
