Richard A. Bruno

Richard Bruno of Mount Vernon passed away peacefully on June 23, 2016 at the age of 86. He was born in Mount Vernon to the late George Bruno and Antoinette Cerrone. Richard proudly served his country from 1951-1953 while stationed in Germany. After returning from Germany he worked as a Sales Manager for Superb Spring Works and later retired from Fire End Croker in Elmsford.


Richard will be remembered as a loving man with strong faith. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his nieces and grand nieces.

Richard is survived by his nieces, Marianne, Joanne & Bernadette. He is also survived by his grandnieces, Dorothy, Joanne, Dorene, Kim Denise and his grandnephew Peter.

Richards Life will be honored and remembered at the Pelham Funeral Home 64 Lincoln Ave. Pelham NY on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Peter & Paul Church, 129 E Birch Street, Mount Vernon, NY on Monday June 27 at 10:00 am. Internment will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in New Rochelle.
