Regina Warley

Regina Warley passed away on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021. She was 73 years old. Regina was born on October 5th, 1948, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Haywood Slaughter and Louise Hood. Regina worked for Jacobi Medical Center as a telephone Operator for 20+ years, until she retired in 2010.

When she was very young Regina’s family moved to The Bronx, where she met and fell in love with Jeffrey Farrison Warley. The marriage produced three children, Jeffrey, Raquel and Jason. Regina raised her family in the Bronx. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to family gatherings and game nights. She loved to write. She’d write down everything, including her thoughts, ideas and memories.

Regina loved cats, crime documentaries, crossword puzzles, dancing, soul music, and keeping up with pop culture. Regina had a wonderful sense of humor, and a soft spot for animals. She would feed and care for all the neighborhood cats. Regina also donated to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Regina will be remembered as a kind, loving, and compassionate woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Regina is survived by her children; Jeffrey Warley (wife, Tahese), Jason Warley, Rahajee Miree (wife, Coleen), Raquel Warley (ex-husband Gerald Goodwin), her sister; Rita Williams, her beloved grandchildren; Nicholas, Jeffrey (wife, Tara), Jonathan, Jayson, Leanna, and Royale. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Josuha, Joseph, Ariya, Ava, Nova, Jeffrey, Saiya and Kai, and a host of Cousins, and other relatives. Regina is predeceased by her brother, Gerald Williams.

A celebration of Regina’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Tuesday, November 9th from 9-11 am. A funeral service will follow at Pelham Funeral Home from 11am-12pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Regina’s name to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
