Raymond would meet the love of his life, Marie Christy. They got married in St. Brendan’s Church, Bainbridge Avenue and would spend their time living between the Bronx and the Catskills.

In his spare time Raymond loved to read, tape shows on VHS, listen to music, and go on long drives with his cars. He also loved dancing to country music at the Tuxedo Ballroom and the Jaguar House.

Raymond will be remembered as a man whose smile would light up any room. He was charming, had great finesse and had a thirst for knowledge. He could speak about any subject and would love to debate. He was generous, had a heart of gold and would go out of his way to help people.

My deepest sympathy to all of Raymond's family. Marie and I went to school together in Ireland. We would get together at my house in NJ, and we enjoyed Raymond's company. My family in Ireland let me know about Raymond's passing. So sorry for your loss. Veronica Cunningham and family.

Ray and Marie were the nicest neighbors. Ray was a very respected and knowledgeable member of our Coop Board. Ray was always very gracious, and had a very positive disposition. God bless!
