Ralph Dominick Borsella

Ralph Dominick Borsella "Chic" a resident of Pelham for 57 years, passed away peacefully at his home on August 10, 2015. He was surrounded by his family. Ralph was born in Mt Vernon on November 10, 1931 to Ralph and Emma (Tanno) Borsella. He graduated New York University and later served as First Lieutenant from 1954-1957 in the U.S. Army. Ralph was the proprietor for 43 years of Ralph D. Borsella Allstate Insurance Agency in the Bronx and later in Rye NY. He generously gave his time by volunteering in many community, church and school programs including Pelham Little League, Boy Scouts of America, Nazareth Nursery, St. Catherine's School and Salesian High School. He was also a member of the Yonkers Male Glee Club.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Maryalice (Bross) Borsella. He will be missed by his children Roberta (Les) Farnum of Charlotte, NC, Ralph Jr. (Marguerite) of New Rochelle, Victor (Alice) of Cortlandt Manor, Anthony (Maureen) of Pelham and Donna Juliano of Pelham. He will be missed by his loving grandchildren Sara, Chris, Kelly, Jason, Anthony, Kristen, Justin, David and Evan as well as his sister, Eleanor Limato of Mt. Vernon, NY, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Yolanda Carpino and his granddaughter Julianne Borsella.

Those fortunate enough to know Ralph, were blessed with his generosity, kindness and love.

A Celebration of Ralph's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home Thursday August 13th from 4-9pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St Catharine's Church Friday August 14th at 10:00am.
