Patricia Ann Walters

Patricia Ann Walters, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away on July 26, 2023, in New Rochelle, NY. She was born in Bronx NY on February 14, 1962, to Margaret (McCormack) and Francis Wynne. Patti was one of five children.

Patti would meet her loving husband Scott through mutual friends while socializing at Hunter Mountain, they would marry and move to New Rochelle to raise their children. 

Patti's primary career was raising her children. She dedicated herself to being a loving and nurturing mother to Amanda, Kirsten, and Kristopher. Her unwavering commitment to her family was unmatched and she always put their needs before her own. Patti's children were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

One of Patti’s most outstanding qualities was her ability to connect with others. She had countless friends whom she cherished dearly. Constantly engaged in conversations with friends over the phone or in person, Patti could talk about anything with anyone. Her lively spirit made her the life of any gathering.

Aside from nurturing her relationships with friends and family, Patti actively pursued hobbies that brought joy to her life. Patti had a deep love for animals big and small, and spent many hours volunteering at the Humane Society and Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach with family and friends. 

Patti fought a brave battle until the very end, displaying remarkable strength and courage throughout. Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, Patricia's impact on the lives she touched will continue to be felt.

A visitation service will be held in honor of Patti's life on July 31, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY 10803. Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend.

A Mass will be held on August 1, 2023, at St. Barnabas Church located at 409 E 241st St, Yonkers, NY 10470. The service will commence at 10:45 AM and conclude at 11:45 AM. 

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Scott Walters and her children Amanda (Darryl) Walters, Kirsten (Robert) Walters, and Kristopher (Amanda) Walters. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth (Dori) Wynne and her sister-in-law Carmela Wynne. Patricia will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was pre-deceased by her brothers Donald, Robert, and Brian Wynne.

In conclusion, Patricia Ann Walters leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and inspiration. Her kindness and love for others knew no bounds. She will forever be remembered for the profound impact she made on the lives of her family and friends. Patricia's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
