Norma Roldan

Norma E. Roldan of City Island, NY passed away at Mary Manning Walsh Home in Manhattan on Saturday October 8th 2016. She was 65 years old. Born on the 4th of July to Antonio and Eloise Aponte, of Mt. Vernon, NY, Norma was raised in a loving household.

After finishing High School, Norma would work in administration for various employers throughout her career. She met and married her husband George Roldan in the Bronx and together the two would have their son, George, III, who passed away at 3 months old.

Norma was full of love and life. She enjoyed Latin music and dancing. She loved to read and travel, exploring history and the world around her. Her loving nature made her a caregiver to many, especially to her beloved mother.

Norma is predeceased by her husband, George and her son, George IIl. She is survived by her sister, Wilfidia (Willie) Cintron
and her brother Marcus Aponte. She will be deeply missed by her many beloved cousins.
