Nicanor Jimenez Correa (also known as "Nick" and "Nico") of New Rochelle, New York, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 78 years of age.

Nicanor was born on Saturday, September 12, 1942 in Piura, Peru, son of the late Isidro Jimenez and Elena Correa de Jimenez. He is survived by his loving wife Mª Renata, his two loving daughters Jeannie and Stacy, his son-in-law Cristian, and his two loving grandchildren Diego and Kristie. And also by his four brothers and a sister, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews, all whom he loved very much.

Nicanor was above all a devoted and faithful servant of Jehovah God. He was baptized and dedicated his life as a Jehovah's Witness on January 24, 1970 and lived more than 50 years true to his word. With Jehovah's guidance, Nicanor became an exemplary husband and father, a loving and caring family member, and a friend at all times.

Nicanor met Renata in Lima, Peru and on June 10, 1977 they were married. Together the two came to the United States and opened a hair salon in New Rochelle, New York known to many as Nick's New Hair Design. Nicanor worked more than 35 years as a stylist, not only cutting hair but also touching the hearts of many in New Rochelle, his daughter Jeannie continues his legacy.

Nicanor was fascinated by discovering new places, beaches, soccer, airplanes and animals, his favorite being the eagle. Nicanor dreamed of flying and found much inspiration in the greatness and majesty of the eagle.

Nicanor was a very happy man and he enjoyed the company of his family and friends very much.

Nicanor will continue to live in our hearts and the memories we each have of him.

Due to the pandemic there will be no funeral services. A speech celebrating the life of Nicanor will be given on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 5:00 pm through a private link. Details will be confirmed.

Nicanor Jimenez Correa (también conocido como "Nick" y "Nico") de New Rochelle, New York, falleció el Miércoles, 13 de Enero del 2021 a los 78 años de edad.

Nicanor nació el Sábado, 12 de Septiembre del 1942 en Piura, Peru, hijo de los ya fallecidos Isidro Jiménez y Elena Correa de Jimenez. Le sobreviven su amada esposa Mª Renata, sus dos queridas hijas Jeannie y Stacy, su yerno Cristian y sus dos queridos nietos Diego y Kristie. También sus cuarto hermanos y una hermana, sus cónyuges y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas, a quienes quería mucho.

Nicanor ante todo fue un hombre amador y fiel a Jehova Dios. Se bautizó y dedicó su vida como Testigo de Jehova el 24 de Enero del 1970 y vivió más de 50 años fiel a su palabra. Con la guía de Jehova, Nicanor logró ser un esposo y padre ejemplar, un familiar amoroso y cariñoso, y un amigo a toda hora.

Nicanor conoció a Renata en Lima Perú y el 10 de Junio del 1977 se casaron. Juntos los dos vinieron a los Estados Unidos y abrieron una peluquería en New Rochelle, New York conocida por muchos como Nick's New Hair Design. Nicanor trabajó más de 35 años como estilista, no solo cortando cabello pero también tocando los corazones de muchos en New Rochelle, su hija Jeannie sigue su legado.

A Nicanor le fascinaba conocer nuevos lugares, las playas, el fútbol, los aviones y los animales, su favorito siendo el águila. Nicanor soñaba con volar y encontraba mucha inspiración en la grandeza y majestuosidad del águila. Nicanor era un hombre muy feliz y disfrutaba mucho la compañía de su familia y amigos.

Nicanor seguirá vivo en nuestros corazones y los recuerdos que cada uno tenemos de él.
