Nancy Ann Lore

Nancy Ann Lore (nee Palmer) passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was 80 years old. Born to Pauline and Walter Palmer, Nancy was the youngest of five children. She grew up in Mamaroneck and attended Mamaroneck schools. After completing school, Nancy became a devoted mother and homemaker. She later worked for William F. Manning Realty in New Rochelle.

The joy of Nancy's life was her family and she enjoyed a big wonderful family. Through the years she shopped, baked, and cooked many a meal that bought her family to the table. There they shared many happy memories over her delicious lasagna or pot roast- and who could forget Thanksgiving dinners in Redhook.. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Nancy is pre-deceased by her loving husband Joseph and granddaughter Danielle. She is survived by: Joseph & Doreen Lore of New Rochelle, Frank Lore of Pelham, Danny & Joyce Lore of Yonkers, Bonnie Jo and James Burkos of Washington. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Laura Mayovsky, Jamie Chavez, Joanna Thompson, Dina McMahon, Thomas McMahon IV, Joseph Lore, and Michael Campanelli. She will also be missed by her 8 great-grand children.

A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Sunday, September 11th from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY. A service will take place on Monday September 12th, 10:00am at the Pelham Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle, N.Y.
