Michael Halloran of the Bronx, New York, passed away on October 13, 2022. He was 93 years old. Born in New York, NY. He would later meet his wife Ann Danisi. The couple would marry and move to Seddon Street and later to Fowler Avenue where they raised their 3 daughters, Joan, Donna, and Janice.
Michael worked for the NYC Department of Sanitation in the Bronx for 28 years. He was also an owner of Duraclean Service for 20 years. He had a strong work ethic and was very proud of his jobs. Michael always made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending times surrounded by family and friends.
Michael above all put his family first. His happiest moments were spent during the family summer vacations at Villa Roma, Cape May, The Outer Banks and the summer home in Monroe New York.
Michael was very popular and made friends easily. He loved to converse with anyone he met. Once you met him you instantly liked him. Micheal was very well known to the Jacobi Hospital Family and was considered the Mayor of Jacobi Medical Center.
Michael will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and wonderful friend. Although his family is heartbroken and he will be dearly missed his family finds comfort in the many treasured memories he leaves behind.
Michael is survived by his 3 daughters; Joan Giuliano, Donna Brosnan and Husband John, and Janice Halloran and Husband Barrie Albert. He will be missed by his 3 grandchildren; Angela Major and Husband Kevin Major, John Michael Brosnan and wife Susie and Evan Brosnan and his 2 great grandchildren; Kelly and Scott Major. He is predeceased by his wife Ann Danisi.
A celebration of Michael's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY, on Tuesday, October 18th, from 4-8pm.
