Michael Carroll passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was 69 years old and a life long resident of Pelham. He attended St. Catharine's elementary school and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1967. After graduation Michael served in the U.S. Air Force Military Police. Michael worked for the New Rochelle Post Office, but his life long passion was music. He played in many bands over the years, most recently in Crossfire. He earned his nickname by singing the Miller beer commercial that aired during the Super Bowl in the 1970s. He was married to his wife Joyce for 38 years and was a beloved husband and father.
Michael was a rock star musician, a best friend, and touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, his beautiful daughters, Melissa and Casey, his brother, Tom, his faithful dog, Harry, and all of his friends and fans. Heaven just got a new lead singer - and a lot more fun.
