Mary Cusano

Mary Cusano, A life long resident of Pelham, passed away on May 23rd 2022. She was 86 years old.

Born in the Bronx to Nick Nitis and Kalotina Kouronis, Mary was the second youngest of 5 children. Mary was raised in the Bronx where she attended local schools. After graduating High School Mary would meet her husband of over 50 years Frank Cusano. The couple lived in the Bronx before moving to Pelham where they raised their two children Kathy and Frank.

Mary enjoyed cooking and shopping in her spare time. She loved making homemade pasta and Greek dish’s. Everyone loved spending time at the Cusano house where they always felt welcome and satisfied by Marys tasty culinary dish’s. Mary also loved to travel, especially to her family in Greece.

Mary will be remembered as a loving, caring and outgoing person. She was a straight shooter and always let you know what she was thinking.

Mary is survived by her son Frank Cusano Jr., her two grandchildren, her cousin as well as extended family and friends. Mary will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband Frank and her daughter Kathy.
