Marie Darmiento

Marie Darmiento of The Bronx, New York, passed away on May 27, 2022. She was 77 years old. Born in 1945 to Nicola and Rosaria Cinquina, she was one of 6 children. Marie graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, and went on to marry the love of her life, her husband, Rocco Darmiento. The couple resided in The Bronx, where they raised their two children, Anthony and Nicholas.  Marie and Rocco were happily married for over fifty years.

Marie was a loving mother, she always made sure family came first, and always enjoyed spending times surrounded by family and friends. 

Marie will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, relative and wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed; however, her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories she leaves behind.

Marie is survived by her sons, Anthony and Nicholas. She will be missed by her grandson, John. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. Marie is predeceased by her husband, Rocco, and her siblings, Eddie, Rita, Jean, Anthony, and Anna. 

A celebration of Marie’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, NY, on Tuesday May 31, 2022, between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday June 1, 2022, between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, located at 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor, NY, on Thursday June 2, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
