Lydia Shannon Caine

Lydia Shannon Caine, of Pelham, NY, passed away on December 26th, 2021. She was 99 years old. Born in Waxhaw, NC to John H. Shannon and Sadie Black.

Lydia worked as A Real Estate Broker at Caine Realty that her and her late husband Robert N. Caine started. Lydia was a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Lydia was a lifelong resident of Pelham, A member of the Pelham Country Club as well as the Echo Bay Yacht Club. Lydia was a gregarious person who was a welcome Hostess to everyone, she was an avid Tennis Player, loved playing bridge. Lydia loved going to see the Ballet at Lincoln Center and going to the Opera. Lydia also did some Modeling standing in for models who needed her.
Lydia is survived by her son’s; Douglas Milton Caine and Marcus Caine and his wife Wendy, her grandchildren; Matthew A. and Johnathan A. Caine. Lydia is predeceased by her husband of over 40 years Robert N. Caine, her daughter; Carolyn Dodds Caine, and her sibling’s; John Herman Jr and Anelia Shannon.
