Louise Luisana (nee DiRienzo) of Pelham, NY passed away on December 22, 2016. She was 90 years old. Born March 25, 1926 in New Rochelle, NY to the late John and Angela DiRienzo, Louise was raised in Pelham in a faith filled household and attended St. Gabrielle's High School in New Rochelle. She would go on to meet her husband Louis Lusiana in Pelham though the two would be parted when Louis went off to serve his country in the US Navy. When Louis returned from service, the couple married and settled in Pelham, NY. Together they would have one child, their beloved daughter, Deborah.
A strong sense of faith made Louise the loving strong woman that she was, dedicated to both her family and her career. She was hardworking and honest serving Chemical Bank of Pelham for thirty years. As her family grew, she delighted in the addition of her son-in-law, Jan, and her grandchildren: Rachel and Garret. Louise loved to travel the world when she had the opportunity. Among her favorite places to visit were Europe and Asia.
Louise is predeceased by her husband, Louis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jan Lederman and will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rachel and Garret. She will be missed by her twenty nieces and nephews, twenty-three great nieces and nephews and 4 great-grand nieces and nephews. Her sisters Arlene DiRienao and Genevieve Spillo will always keep her in their hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 24th at 10:30 AM at St Catharine's Church, 25 Second Ave., Pelham, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at Beechwood Cemetery, 179 Beechwood Ave., New Rochelle, NY.
