It is with great sadness that the family of Keith J. Connolly announces his passing on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 after a sudden illness. He was 54. Keith was born on August 21,1965 and raised by Sean and Annette Connolly in Galway City, Ireland. He was a proud graduate of St. Endas School, National University of Ireland, Galway and Queens University in Belfast, where he received his MBA. Keith came to New York, in 1990, where he held positions at Muller Data and Thomson Financial. He later moved to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he worked for 22 years, eventually becoming Managing Director & General Manager, Real Estate Finance Department, Americas Division. He was proud of his Irish roots and made many trips back with his family.
Keith will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew. He was caring, thoughtful, playful and fun. He had a terrific sense of humor. He was an avid reader of history and politics and loved a good debate. Keith enjoyed grilling and cooking Sunday dinners. He was a big fan of both soccer and rugby and a member of the New York Athletic Club. He was a true friend to everyone he knew.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sarah (Moulton) and his two greatest gifts, Georgia and Katie. He is also survived by his mother, Annette Connolly, brother Alan Connolly (Laurenda), sister Yvette Quinn (Joe), mother-in-law Gail Moulton, brother-in-law Bill Moulton (Heather), and adoring extended family. Keith was predeceased by his father, Sean Connolly and his father-in-law, William H. Moulton.
To honor Keith's life, a service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 10 am at Huguenot Memorial Church, 901 Pelhamdale Ave, Pelham, NY. Viewing and commitment will be private.
