Justin Culver Steskal of Cedarville, Plymouth passed away with loved ones by his side on March 26 2019. He was 38 years old. Justin was born in Grand Island Nebraska October 15, 1980 and moved with his family to Ames Iowa where he attended high school and began training for his cooking career. Justin returned to Nebraska in 2004, where he started working as a cook and was eventually promoted to managing partner of the restaurant. He moved to Plymouth in 2015.
Justin was a poet and philosopher at heart. His had a passion for music, Husker Football (and almost any sport with a ball). He knew all the stats and history of all his favorites. He was well known in school for his abilities on the basketball court, and his delicious cooking was an artform which he began at an early age, and continued throughout his life. Justin had a generous spirit and kind heart, a legendary sense of humor and quick wit. He built an empire of family amongst his friends wherever he went.
Justin was proceeded in death by his father Randy Steskal. He is survived by his loving immediate family including mother LaDonna Downs of Plymouth, sisters Heather Mercer of Plymouth and Sarah Napolitano of Dennis, Adriana Merryman of Seymour Iowa, and brother Eli Merryman of Seymour Iowa. He was a favorite and adored uncle of Maggie, Nunzio and Juliette, great "dad" to Jaden and Kadin, and much loved by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Justin's life will be held on Saturday April 6, from 3-5 pm at The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 601 State Rd. Plymouth, MA 02360. All are welcome.
