John N. Matteo of Pelham and Wappingers Falls, NY died on Monday, May 13th after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
Born on August 14, 1966 in New Rochelle, NY to Frank Matteo and the late Leona (Pompea) Matteo, Father of Brianna Matteo of Newburgh, survived by his Sister Michele McElligott of Pelham, Uncle to Jessica McElligott, Fiancé of Michelle DeVivo, Brother in law, Paul Francis and his daughter Ashley Francis, Frank's Fiancé, Rosa Carrasco. He is also survived by the Oesterwinter, Clinchy & O'Hara (Uliano) families.
John graduated from Pelham High School, played little league baseball, Pop Warner Football, loved hunting, and fishing with his daughter. He was a Local 3 electrician for 25 years. Friend to "No More for the Road meetings".
Visiting hours will be at the Pelham Funeral Home, Thursday 2:00 - 9:00 p.m., 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY. Funeral Mass at St. Catharine's Church Friday, May 17th at 10:00. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
