Isolina Aguilar of Pelham received her angel wings on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. She was 75 years old. Isolina was born in Puerto Rico to Ana Maria Munoz Peralta and Rafael Aguilar.
She will never be forgotten by her daughters, Lorraine, Clara, Maria, her grand daughter, Mikaela, her sons-in-law, Ari and Don, her sister, Annie, and extended family.
She worked at the Waldorf Astoria's Peacock Alley, Harry's Bar, Bull and Bear, and Oscar's Restaurant for a period of 39 years. She served as a waitress to a number of celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries during her career. She also worked at the Peabody Company and served many Wall Street executives.
She loved cooking, traveling, dancing, music, and found joy experiencing different cultures around the world.
A celebration of Isolina's life will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Avenue on Monday, December 29th, 2014 from 4 - 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, December 30th at 10:00 am at St. Catherine's Church, Pelham.
