Helen Clark O'Connor

Helen O'Connor (nee Clark) passed away on November 7, 2016 at age 92 at home with her sons by her side. Born June 5, 1924 in Springfield, MA to the late Aaron Robinson Clark and Nora Mulrooney.

After marring Edward O'Connor, she would move to Pelham, NY where the couple would raise their family. Active in her parish of St. Catharine's she gave countless hours to fundraising for the school and parish. Helen worked at the Manor Club of Pelham Manor for over 30 years managing the kitchen staff and touching countless people. Her booming laugh and charismatic personality will be sorely missed.

Helen is survived by her cherished children, Barbara (Robert) Scott, Paul (Mary) Weisman, Tim (Rita) O'Connor and Edward III (MaryAnn) O'Connor, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward P. O'Connor, Jr., a son Michael Weisman and a grandson. Loving sister to the late Clara (Clarice) Goldman, Marion Kristiansen, Grace Summers, Robert Clark and Dorothy Clark.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 10th from 5:00-9:00 PM at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 11th at 10:00 AM at St Catharine's Church, 25 Second Ave., Pelham, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pelham Meals on Wheels, c/o Regina Gallagher, 153 Cliff Ave. Pelham, NY 10803.
