Gregory M. Steele, age 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 22nd 2016. He was born on February 2nd 1948 in Brooklyn, New York to his beautiful mother Evelyn. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Lehman College. Gregg was an active member of his community, always attending local events and keeping up with current news. Gregg was also an active member of the church community and attended so many different churches throughout his life. He had a very social personality and made friends and acquaintances everywhere he went and will always be remembered for his friendly nature. Gregg left no day unlived as he explored every borough in NYC, and knew this great city all too well including so many of its' historical attributes. Gregg immersed himself in different cultures and learned about everything he could. He shared his passions every chance he had with his two children Danielle Steele and Mark William Steele. They will carry on his active lifestyle and always remember him as the most loving father they could have ever had. They will cherish all of the memories they have of him and continue to grow and better the world around them just as their father did. Gregg is survived by his loving sister and two brothers Cynthia, James and Steven as well as his five nieces and nephews James jr., Richard, Serena, Tracy, and Daniel and of course his eight great nieces and nephews Jessica, Nicholas, Daniel, Connor, Fallon, JohnPaul, Brooklyn and Ayman. All who knew and loved Gregg are invited to attend his funeral service in the chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx on Tuesday March 29th 2016 at 10:00am. We would love to have all of his friends and family present for him.
