George Veishlow

George Veishlow of Pelham, New York passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was 86 years old. George was born in 1931 in New Rochelle, NY to Walter and Anna Veishlow. He attended New Rochelle High School, Class of 1949. George served in the 508th Army Airborne Regiment from 1951 to 1954. He received an Honorable Discharge, Sergeant First Class. He then worked as an Operating Engineer for Local 15 NYC. After retiring, he restored antique furniture. George is survived by his daughter Allison, sister Nena McMahon, and good friend, Barbara Montgomery. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Klaudia Dusenbury.
