Frances Hazim of Bronx, New York passed away on Friday, April 12th, 2019 at 89 years old. Frances was born to Nicholas and Margaret Pisarri and was raised in Staten Island, New York, where she attended local schools.Â
Frances was an extremely hardworking mother who always put family first. She had various careers over the years to ensure that her family would always have what they needed. She is described by her children as the most selfless person you will ever meet, and the embodiment of love. She was a talented artist and writer and had an eye for the smallest details. She was also a gifted interior decorator. To say she was a wonderful caregiver would be an understatement. Put it this way, she had house plants as old as her adult children, and they were just plants. Can you imagine what she invested in the wellbeing of her family? You would never suspect by the range of her skills, talents, and knowledge, that she was completely self-taught.
Frances will be remembered as a kind, generous, selfless, and Godly woman. She leaves behind her children; George Hazim, Karolyn Prisciandaro, Jeffrey Hazim, and Glen Hazim. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and her two great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Isaac and her grandson Michael Prisciandaro. She will be missed by many, especially those who knew her well.
A viewing will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham, NY on Monday, April 22nd from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
