Frances Giordano

Frances Giordano of New Rochelle, NY, passed away on September 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. Born in Mount Vernon to Francis and Melinda McDonough, Frances was one of four children. A proud graduate of Mount Vernon High School, she met and fell deeply in love with her future husband, Anthony Giordano, during their high school years. Their enduring romance was a testament to their perfect love story.

Frances and Anthony moved to New Rochelle to raise their two beloved children. Frances was the heart of her family, cherished by her children and grandchildren, and was a second mother to her children’s friends. Known for her loving, kind, and generous spirit, she was a social butterfly who thrived on entertaining and creating joyful moments with those around her. Her home was a hub of laughter and warmth, especially during their cherished times at their Hampton beach house with friends and family.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Brenda Giordano; granddaughter, Gillian; grandson, Nicholas; and daughter-in-law, Nanette and her amazing caregiver, Magda. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony; her son, Stephen; her brothers, Walter and Raymond; and her sister, Dorothy.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday September 9, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Church of the Holy Family located at 83 Clove Road, New Rochelle NY 10801. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery located at 280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale NY 10530.
