Donald D. Soules age 95, of Mount Vernon, NY passed away June 7, 2021, in Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, New York. He was born on January 11, 1926, in Forestburg, NY, the son of David and Claribel Spry Soules.
Donald married his loving wife, Rosemary, on December 10, 1964. They were married for 32 years before her passing. During His life Donald was a WWII Navy Vet, Eucharistic Minister at St. Ursula Church and Mustard Seed group in Mt. Vernon, NY. He also Served as an Auxiliary police officer and was A Boy Scout Troop leader of Troop 22 in Mt. Vernon, NY. Donald also Managed a Leather Goods Company.
Donald loved spending time with his grandchildren. Every Holiday he enjoyed making Figurines for family and friends, he loved talking and meeting people and made numerous friends as a result of that... Besides his love for arts and crafts, Donald enjoyed watching old movies and sports. Some of his favorite teams to watch included the Mets, Boston Bruins and the Giants. Donald's favorite music to listen to was Big Band era music and Old Country music.
Donald is survived by his three sons; Donald Soules Jr and wife Martina, Chris Soules and wife Hope, and Paul Soules, His two daughters; Deborah Winters and husband Dennis, Denise Soules. His sister Vivian Apiccelli. Seven wonderful grandchildren; Ashley, Ryan, Oisin, Danielle, Marisa, Victoria, David and seven beloved great grandchildren; Dylan, Aiden, Alissa, Andrew, Michael, Roy, and John IV. Donald was predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary, his Parents, and sister Gloria.
