Donald C. Cirillo of the Bronx passed away on July 2nd 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. He was 81 years old.

Born in New York City to Dominick and Lillian, Donald was the eldest of two children. He was raised in Harlem where he attended P.S. 80 and Benjamin Franklin High School. He graduated in 1955. After graduation, Donald enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for the next three years. On his return from the service, he went on to marry his sweetheart Linda Landi and was married for 43 years. The couple wed at Holy Rosary Church on October 27th 1962 and moved to the Bronx where they raised their 3 children.
Donald went to work as a stock broker for Loeb, Rhoades & Co. He worked on Wall Street for over 40 years before retiring from Bishop Rosen. In his spare time he loved watching sports, fishing, rooting for the New York teams (especially the NY Mets and NY Giants). His great love was for his family. He enjoyed playing Dominos, Go Fish and cheating in rummy with his grandchildren. He would brag about his grandkids to anyone who would listen to him.
Donny will be remembered as a simple, quiet, loving, family man. He would hesitate to spend on himself but was more than generous to anyone in need.
Donny is survived by his three children; Deron (Lisa) Cirillo, Donna (Frank) DelPonte, and Karen (Cosimo) Tiso. He will be missed by his grandchildren; Larissa, Julia, Frank, Stephanie, Michelle and Matthew. He is also survived by his sister Camille (Bob) Muscatella. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
A celebration of Donny's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY on Friday July 5th from 4-8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor NY on Saturday July 6th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St Raymonds Cemetery.
