Cosma was born on October 14, 1922 and passed away on Thursday April 23, 2020. Cosma was a resident of Eastchester, New York. She was born in Cassano Murge, Bari, Italy. She was the daughter of Michele and Anna Cordola, and was the youngest of 8 children.
In 1951 Cosma married Anthony Latorre. Cosma was a loving wife to Anthony for 56 years. The two remained together until Anthony's passing in 2007. They moved to Tenby, Wales in 1952, and then in 1955 they moved to Mt. Vernon, New York, eventually settling in Eastchester in 1971. Cosma worked at Kulka electric for 30 years. After retirement, she devoted herself to her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling with Anthony, and spending time with her grandchildren. In 2001, Cosma and Anthony celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Cassano, where they renewed their vows.
Cosma is survived by her son Vincent, her daughter Mary Ann, her son-in-law Vincent Gramuglia, and her grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Gramuglia. She is also survived by her sister in-law Maria Antonietta Cordola, and her nieces and nephews, Michael, Enzo, Janice, Nicole, Kristen and Johnny.
