Charles H. Vaughn,

Charles H. Vaughn Jr., 70, of New Rochelle, NY died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, September 5, 2014. Chuck was born in Fort Worth, TX on March 15, 1944 to the late Charles H. Vaughn and Priscilla Neville Vaughn.
He graduated from Gonzaga Prep in Washington, DC and received a degree from Boston College and an MBA from Northwestern University.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1966 and following graduation from Officer Candidate School he volunteered and proudly served his country in Vietnam. Locally, he was active in the American Legion Pelham Post No. 50, NY.
He had a career in commercial real estate acquisitions in New York City.
Chuck was married to Helen (Lynn) Marion in 1974, and they lived in Pelham Manor for 36 years before relocating to New Rochelle last year.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Christine, of New Rochelle, his brother John W. Vaughn and his wife Jean of Norwell, MA, and their two daughters, Jennifer and Carolyn. He is also survived by his aunt Katherine Vaughn, cousins Deborah, Richard, Thomas, Maureen, and Robert, and a large extended family.
Visiting hours will be from 4pm - 8pm on Tuesday Sept 9 at Pelham Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at 1215pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Pelham.
Interment private.
