Carol Cofini

Carol Cofini of New Rochelle, New York, passed away peacefully on February 16,
2023, at the age of 81 after a long battle with Dementia. She was born to John and
Mary Zambetti on January 2, 1942. While a student at New Rochelle High School
she met her future husband, Carl, at a high school dance. The couple would marry
in 1962 and raise their 4 sons.

Carol’s faith and family were extremely important to her; she was a parishioner of
the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. Carol was a wonderful
homemaker and made sure family came first and always enjoyed spending time
surrounded by family and friends. 

Carol will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, relative and
wonderful friend. She will be dearly missed; however, her family finds comfort in
the many treasured memories she leaves behind.

Carol is survived by her sons, Louis (Martha), John (Dawn), Carl, and Paul (Maria)
Cofini. She will be missed by her grandchildren Danielle, Nicole, Samantha,
Roman, Stone, Chloe, Mario, Carlo, and Carmela Cofini. She is predeceased by
her loving husband of 34 years, Carl, and her sister, Annette Zambetti

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic
Church on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow
