Carmelo Morales of Pelham New York passed away peacefully on May 20th 2020. He was 63 years old. Born in Manhattan, New York to Zenon and Luz Morales, Carmelo was one of four children. He was raised in the Bronx where he attended local schools. After graduating high school Carmelo worked various jobs before starting a career with the NYC DOT. He worked his way up to supervisor before retiring in 2004.
Carmelo had many hobbies and interests. His favorite being martial arts. It was at a martial arts class he would meet his wife Rossana. Together the couple started a martial arts school in Pelham and would later marry in 1998. They had one son Xavier who attended school in Pelham.
Carmelo will be remembered as a thoughtful, loving and respectful man. He had a big heart. He was a wonderful husband, a great father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Rosanna, his three children Carmelo Alvarez (Yessenia), Carmelo Lee, Xavier, and his two grandchildren Tommy Morales and Oliva Selene Alvarez.
