Anthony Piraneo

Anthony G. Piraneo of Pelham, NY passed away on August 21st 2019.He was 45 years old.
 
Born in New Rochelle to Anthony and Patricia, Anthony was one of three children. He was raised in Pelham where he attended OLPH and Hutchinson Schools before graduating from Pelham Memorial High School in 1992. Anthony went on to further his education with an associates degree in Communications from Westchester Community College. For eighteen years Anthony worked as a dispatcher for Cable Vision.

To say Anthony was a tech guy would be an understatement. He loved to build computers and play computer games. Anthony also enjoyed collecting baseball cards, watching the History channel, rooting for the Yankee's or traveling to Vegas to wager a bet. Anthony will be remembered as a loving and good hearted son, brother and dear friend. He was always there to help a friend in need. He also had a great sense of humor which will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Anthony is survived by his mother Patricia, his two siblings Joseph and Christina, his aunts; Margaret Cremins and Nellie Carstens, his uncle Vincent Piraneo and his many cousins. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Anthony is predeceased by his father Anthony S. Piraneo


A celebration of Anthony's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY on Friday August 23rd from 4-8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor NY on Saturday August 24th at 10:00am.
