Anne Teresa Robibero of 3 Wartburg Place, Mount Vernon, New York, passed away on May 9, 2024. She was 92 years old. Born in New York, NY to Vincent and Gemma Manganelli she was one of five children. She graduated from High School in the Bronx and would later meet her husband Rudy, also from the Bronx. The couple married and moved to North Terrace Ave., in Mount Vernon and then the “top of the hill” at 1059 Huntsbridge Rd., Yonkers, NY where they raised their four children.
Anne worked as a receptionist and office administrator until she had her first born, Vincent, and always made sure family came first. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially on the holidays and the family annual summer holiday in the Wildwoods and Cape May, New Jersey
Anne will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and wonderful friend to the many she made in her life and at the Wartburg campus in Mount Vernon. She will be dearly missed; however, her family finds comfort in the many treasured memories and friends she leaves behind.
Anne is survived by her son Vincent Robibero and her daughters Carol Anne Papale, Anne Teresa Polito, and Gina Marie Perretti. She will be missed by her ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her sisters Jeanette, and Theresa, brother Joe and her newborn brother who passed away at birth.
For the immediate family only, a celebration of Anne’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on Tuesday May 14, 2024, between the hours of 9:00 am and 10:30 am, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at the Wartburg campus Chapel for family and friends, located at 1 Station Place Mount Vernon, NY.
