VAN BUREN, ANNA-LOU
Anna-Lou D. Van Buren, 94, of Pelham Manor, NY, died on February 21, 2013. She was bom in Watervliet, NY, the daughter of George W. and Isabella Guy Davis. After a long and varied career, she retired in 1986 from the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick Jr. (Linda) of Yonkers, NY, and David (Rose) of Dublin, Ireland; seven grandchildren; and her sister, Norma Sidenius. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd, at Huguenot Memorial Church, Pelham. In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed by the National Down Syndrome Society (www.ndss.org).
