Angelo Parisi, A longtime resident of Mount Vernon passed away on February 8th 2021. He was 74 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Nicholas and Girolama Parisi, Angelo was one of three children. He was raised in Ozone Park where he attended local schools. After graduating High School Angelo would enlisted in the US Army in 1966. He served in Vietnam and would returned home after two years of service.
On his return, Angelo started his own video production business. He met his wife Karen DeSimone and together they have one child, Nicholas. Angelo loved spending time with Nicholas. Together they enjoyed car shows, stamp and coin collecting, vacationing with family and frequent trips to Disney World. Angelo described himself and Nicholas as two peas in a pod.
Angelo will be remembered as a generous, caring, and quiet gentleman. He was a real family man and was always there to help everybody.
Angelo is survived by his son Nicholas, his sisters; Josephine Acquaviva and Frances Troccoli and brother in law Frank Troccoli and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Girolama, his brother in law Tom Acquaviva and nephew Paul Aquaviva. He will be missed by everyone he knew.
A celebration of Angelo's life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave, Pelham New York on Thursday February 18th from 9:00am -10:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church located at 575 Fowler Avenue, Pelham Manor, New York on Thursday February 18th at 11:00am.
