Alessandro A. Pappalardi

Alessandro (Alex) Pappalardi of Pelham, New York, passed away on November 30, 2024. He was 78 years old. Born in Bonefro (Campobasso), Italy to Francis and Eleonora Pappalardi, Alex was the oldest of 3 children. He would later meet his wife, Maria, in New Rochelle, NY. The couple would marry and move to Pelham where they raised their 3 children. 

 Alex worked as an electrician throughout Westchester County. He had a strong work ethic and loved his job. He always made sure family came first and enjoyed spending times surrounded by family and friends, especially his grandchildren. 

 He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend. Alex is survived by his wife, Maria, and his children, Francis and wife Suzanne, Michael, and Alexander. He will be missed by his two granddaughters, Alessandra and Carolina. He will also be missed by his aunt, Palmina, and many relatives in Italy, as well as by his brother-in-law, Pasquale and wife Joann and their children. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Eleonora, and his two brothers, Gennaro and Pasquale. 

 A celebration of Alessandro’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home, located at, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham NY on December 5, 2024.  between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, located at 25 Second Avenue, Pelham NY on December 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made in Alessandro’s name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help - St. Catharine, Pelham NY.
