Albert Moreno

Albert Moreno of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on December 6th, 2021. He was 96 years old. Born in New York, NY to Nissim and Sultana Moreno. Albert lived in Brooklyn and the Bronx where he worked as a tobacco salesman for a tobacco and candy distributer. Later on he worked for chase bank in NYC as a Porter.

Albert was a family man and enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones. He enjoyed playing cards for game nights with his family. Albert was an avid Yankee and Giants fan his whole life. He also enjoyed going to the track and watching the horse races. He loved traveling, spending time at Long Beach Island, and dining at fancy restaurants with his late wife, Claire. Albert was a meticulous dresser and was always early to everything.
Albert will be remembered as a loving, gentle, kind, easy going, and pleasant man. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Albert is survived by his children; Janice (Ed) Clough, Sandy (Bob) Schauer, David (Cassandra) Moreno. Albert is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; Lauren, Erica, Michael, Jaclyn, Ali, and JP. Albert is predeceased by his loving wife; Clair Moreno.
A celebration of Albert’s life will take place at the Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Avenue Pelham, New York on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, from 9:00-11:00am. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery located at 179 Beechwood Ave, New Rochelle, NY.
